CONSORTIUM PANIERE DI PUGLIA aims to the maximum valorisation of the typical products of the Murgia dei Trulli area giving to the local wine and food the role of flagship of the Apulian cookery.
The delicious capocollo of Martina Franca, the precious extra-virgin olive oil obtained from the Valle d’Itria olive groves, the good fresh milk and cheeses made in the historic local farms the tasty focacce, the yummy friselle, taralli and the bread baked in the wood-burning oven according to the tradition; the fresh and dry pasta in its different shapes: orecchiette, gnocchi, strozzapreti, rigatoni, ravioli, real pleasure for the palate and queen of the table; the precious wines obtained from age-old vines that made the history of our area.
And then the vegetables, fresh delicacy of our rich food production, the ancient handcraft traditional liqueur: rosolio, limoncello, amaro…
All of them are Apulian good cuisine products that CONSORZIO PANIERE DI PUGLIA intends to promote and to be appreciated in Italy and abroad.
